Project Overview

Ferm Engineering was engaged to provide innovative solutions for fire sealing of service penetrations in keeping with these high security accommodations. Using A2.2 Evidence of Suitability as outlined in the National Construction Code, Ferm Engineering created bespoke solutions for maintaining the Fire Resistance Level of the separating walls and service risers in sympathy with the modular / off-site construction method.

As part of a complete service, Ferm Engineering provided inspection reports and passive fire certification to over 400 high security accommodation units, assisting in Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement. Being involved from the beginning of the project enabled Ferm Engineering to Value Add at every stage of the project to produce the best outcome for our client.
